- Introduction to Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA)
- Breathing Apparatus Pre-Use and Daily Inspections
- Correct Methods for Donning and Doffing SCBA
- Breathing Apparatus control procedures
- Search and rescue techniques
- Casualty Handling and Rescue Equipment (stretchers)
- Practical use of BA for Search and Rescue
- Theory of Foam and Foam Making Equipment.
- Practical use of foam on spill and tank fires

DAY 3
- Confined Space Rescue equipment and techniques.
- Confined space rescues exercises requiring the use of stretchers and various rescue equipment, involving toxic gas release and the recovery of casualty.
- Internal Fire fighting techniques
- Practical exercise involving: Internal fire fighting, use of BA, BA control board, search/rescue
- A series of small practical exercises run as one incident involving internal and external live fires.
