Aims
To provide delegates with the additional skills necessary to fulfil the role of emergency response team leader and to be able to demonstrate competence in that role.

DAY 1
- Course Registration and Introduction
- The role of the Emergency Response Team Leader
- The elements of leadership
- PPE – Checks, Use and Maintenance
- “Table-top” exercise
- A number of short practical exercises to enable delegates to practice leadership skills
- Cleaning Equipment Used
- Questions and Answers
DAY 2
- Review of the Breathing Apparatus and BA control procedures from team leader point of view
- Breathing Apparatus Pre-Use and Daily Inspections
- Review of rescue equipment.
- Practical exercises with different scenarios where delegates will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and the actions required when dealing with live fire and rescue situations as an Emergency Response Team Leader.
